Jim R. Martin

Mr. Martin is currently a licensed Realtor® and partner in Railhead Realty, LLC and has been active in Farm & Ranch, Commercial, and Development real estate for over forty years. Further, Mr. Martin, has been integrally involved in REO loan purchases, non-REO foreclosures, short sales, etc. as well as being a Court Appointed Receiver working out troubled properties upon numerous occasions. He also has orchestrated numerous FMHA, FHA, and USDA loans in addition to well over a hundred “conventional,” commercial real estate loans, primarily on behalf of his commercial real estate partnerships. In addition to his real estate transactional background, Mr. Martin has well over forty years of experience in the construction business, primarily, in the commercial development and utility development sectors. Mr. Martin has served as General Contractor of over 100 general and utility construction jobs throughout the Central and Southwestern United States and is currently the majority shareholder and CEO of JRM Construction Services, LLC, which focuses on commercial development. His utility construction experience has even involved developing water systems for multiple city water utilities as well as for privately owned properties. In the early 2000’s, Mr. Martin developed Crown Pointe and Crown Valley development in Willow Park, Texas, along the Interstate 20 corridor. This premier development consisted of 2,000 residential lots and included over 600 units of multi-family, medical, senior living, and retail facilities…serving as a template for upscale development for the Fort Worth and Eastern Parker County market areas. Through his construction company, thousands of miles of water and sewage pipes have been installed, as well as water and sewage treatment plants provided to several areas in need. Mr. Martin is heavily involved in the Bear Creek Mud District, which plan includes over 3,000 new residential lots/homes. Additionally, Mr. Martin has purchased and/or sold over 50,000 acres of ranch properties throughout North Central Texas, the Texas Hill Country, and South Texas. Mr. Martin also has a long history of raising high quality show cattle. His cattle have won numerous shows throughout the state, including the prestigious Fort Worth Stock Show as both Grand Champion and Reserve Champion. But far more important than his winnings, Mr. Martin has mentored scores of youngsters to become more engaged and responsible young citizens by getting them actively involved in raising various types of stock for show. Mr. Martin’s educational background was acquired at South Plains Junior College as well as North Texas State University…supplemented by numerous hours of continuing education in his real estate career.
